Starting Winter Quarter 2025, the company that operated BBCC’s online bookstore, MBS, has taken action allowed under the contract with us to end the agreement. This was not BBCC's decision, it was theirs.
The good news is that we have a simple solution. We had already started inputting the textbook information in CTCLink course schedules. The information provided will include: estimated cost, ISBN (the BEST way to find exactly the right book), title, author, and edition information (be sure you get the edition required for the course), if the textbook or other materials are available at the library, and other useful information.
The change will be that students will now need to purchase or rent their textbooks directly through Amazon, Chegg, or other online vendors. Another option is to borrow textbooks for FREE from the Bonaudi Library. The library does not have every textbook for every class but has quite a few. View the library's textbook list here. Place a request for materials from the library here.
We recommend purchasing your textbooks well ahead so they have time to arrive before classes start.
We do not have ALL of the information posted in the schedule yet, so if you do not see anything please check back.
NOTE: VitalSource, the company that provides online textbooks via Day 1 Access (D1A) in Canvas is not impacted by this change.
