Course Materials: Refunds

If you choose to opt out of Day 1 Access, you will be refunded after the opt out period has ended. Students will be responsible for getting the course materials on their own and will lose access through their Canvas course. Some courses require Day 1 Access as the book is bundled with quizzes or homework assigned by your instructor. Course Materials will reach out to you if you opt out of required materials.

Students are responsible for opting out of materials in Canvas before the opt out period ends. If you drop the course after the opt out period has ended, you will not receive a refund for your Day 1 Access Fees.

The opt out deadline is listed in the VitalSource Day 1 Access 1.3 link in Canvas. Students will also receive an email to their BBCC email with information on opt out dates, prices, and how to access/opt out of materials. This email is typically sent 1 - 2 weeks before the quarter begins.
