In Microsoft Word:
- Right-click on the first row that contains the header
- Select Table Properties.
- In the Table Properties dialog box, click the Row tab, and then
- Select Repeat as header row at the top of each page. (Unclick the other option)
- Finally, select OK
In Canvas:
- Highlight the first row that contains the header
- Select Table Properties icon in the Rich Text Toolbar
- In the drop-down menu, select Row>Row Properties
- In Row type, select Header
- Save.
In Adobe Acrobat Pro:
Acrobat is a bit trickier, and the quickest method is to use Accessibility Tags to set header rows after you run Automatic Tagging:
- Run Automatic Tagging
- In the Accessibility Tags window, select the Table tag
- Use the dropdowns in the Table tag to isolate the Header Row or Cell
- Make sure it is labeled TH to mark as Header
